We are a circus at the minute but we are linked with Ryan Kent from yourselves, what's he like?
played last season at Barnsley & was their young player of the year though who knows what the competition was like. He won't make it with us & you can probably get him on reduced terms as part of the Robertson deal.
I take it Glusica (sp) the Polish winger you had is off ?

A good youngster tbf. He'll do well in the Championship.

Just lacks a bit of composure due to not much experience. But we kept him, which says enough at this stage. He would have gone by now, if his progress wasn't worth keeping tabs on.

Hopefully you'll be pleasantly surprised <ok>

Signing players is never easy.

Even when they have entered the final 12 months of their contract.

Such is the case with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, of whom Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is a fan and the player himself has spoken in the past of wanting to emulate Reds great Steven Gerrard.

But after Arsenal won 3-1 in a friendly against Western Sydney Wanderers in Australia earlier today, Wenger seemed pretty convinced of the 23-year-old’s future.

Yes. 100%, I expect him to stay.

No matter the speculation, he will stay.

We’ll see.

Apparentley he had a gentlemans agreement when he signed that he could leave if we got relegated. He'll go and to be honest is only a loss because we are losing players everyday and we are struggling to put 11 first team players out tonight. Huddleston will sign for Derby this weekend aswell

I feel for you tbh. It must be an absolute nightmare supporting Hull at the moment. The club just seems to be in constant turmoil of some kind or the other.

Roma bid £20m for Mahrez. Have they not realised that we expect to get £15m for Moreno!!

I think he'll be a snip at £25m. Young player of the year 12 months ago wasn't he? In today's market that's a good price!!

Yeah worth it for 20-25mil for sure.

Trouble is he left it a season too late and was poor last season. I was concerned we might have been in for him until we got Salah. I just think he's too lazy to make a real impact at most clubs. He needed a Kante to do all the dirty work, he's pure luxury imo.

Can probably have that luxury in Italian football

Its a joke, they didn't get their way over the name change and it appears they are just selling any player they can and promoting the u23 squad. We've got one cb Micheal Dawson and his best days are behind him and he's a regular on the injury list. I expect them to make some token signings but unless there's a miracle we aren't coming back up.
Strange thing is they've employed a manager with a decent reputation and they know the club is only worth buying as a pl club.

they from the outside sum up the "cutting off your nose to spite your face" proverb . There actions make no logical sense but what is motivating them is beyond me.

Slutsky might be looking at the fact Silva ended up with a PL job despite your relegation to which no blame attached to him despite your sudden capitulation in the last few weeks.

Hmm silva started off well but as the pressure grew he made a few mistakes but he was in a no lose situation.
Slutsky is big friends with abramovich, he'd have got a job sooner or later. The difference between silva and slutsky is, you always knew silva was here until something better came along and we should have been grateful for that. Slutsky is exactly the opposite and he's saying how grateful he is for the chance to mange us, however he's had a few weeks with Ehab and that might have changed :)

Liverpool are hopeful of a breakthrough on contract negotiations with midfielder Emre Can. The Germany international is ready to commit his future to Liverpool when he returns from an extended break following his involvement in the Confederations Cup.

Can, who has been on holiday in Los Angeles and Bodrum, Turkey, has just 12 months remaining on his current deal but is close to agreeing terms despite interest from Juventus.

They do not want to lose 23-year-old Can though who can cover a number of
