Who?

And now does 60mil for a really good cb look mad?

that lad looked better than sunderland deserved right? but so did mingolet frankly.

Peopel were telling me only last week lloris wasn't worth 35.... well is he only 5 mil better than pickford.

In short:

a) thats a crazy fee in the circumstance of a relegated player at a club strapped for cash.

b) its an english player premium no?

c) it just shows where the game has gone now.... utterly mad. and thats not evertons fault

I predict that the way things are going we'll look back in five years and say that £100m for Carlton Pogba was only five times above his actual worth.

We will buy VVD but we will look like idiots regardless.

But at the end of it, we will have gained a top class player. We were being aggressive for once and we should have landed him sooner had Soton not spat their dummies out.

We didn't do anything wrong, Soton got the hump because we killed their bidding war. We only apologised simple because no deal could have been completed if they were still pissed off at us.
But this way they get their bidding war only the bidding war is with ourselves. So in short we tried to be clever but proper ****ed it up and now we gonna pay for it?

Liverpool Intensify Efforts
Liverpool FC's hopes have recently been boosted in their attempts to sign absolutely nobody this transfer window.
A press release today has confirmed that the entire scouting team has been given mandatory annual leave until the end of September.
"We are delighted to announce that the scouting team have been given an extended holiday, unpaid of course. Our concerns of the scouts actually trying to convince us to sign someone will thankfully now not occur."

This follows news from last week that Michael Edwards has been promised an incentive bonus of £159.23 or his body-weight worth of Wagon Wheels should he help FSG not sign anyone. "It was a bit mean snitching on Kloppo to Southampton, but FSG are quite adamant that they really don't want to spend any money."
Our sources indicate it is the latter Edwards is pining for.

Salah tells Roma he wants Liverpool move - report
Mohamed Salah has told Roma that he wants to leave the club and move to Liverpool this summer, according to Sky Italia.
The news broke late last night as Liverpool continued negotiations with the Serie A giants in order to thrash out a deal for the Egypt winger.
If true, then Salah’s request to leave the club will put pressure on the Italian side to reach a compromise with the Reds.
