Michael Edwards is a specky 4 eyed hangover from the Comolli days who impressed John Henry with a baseball lime spreadsheet that could say how much any player was worth and what wage should be paid.
This gobshite's fingerprints are all over every stupidity going in past 5 years and has been promoted every time to now be head of recruitment.
He is the fool who says no a player is worth x and no more and must be paid y due to his stats. He blocked both salah and van dijk in the past cos his spreadsheet set low acceptable fees for each player and ayre never broke the fee.
In short fsg put him in there and klopp accepted him so I'm not at all shocked that if summer plans are already in ruins.
And to see how much they make on sales. That club is a black hole for money.
