I'll only explode once we get VVD Salah and Keita.
As I said I went out and got a snorkel.

You would of liked Vvd though Bobby? Do you rate him?
Mane was laughable at times when he first joined you, complete chicken with no head. His improvement is remarkable, I agree that you couldn't see it coming.
I think he's one of the best in the world.![]()
When we bought Mane some people complained about his discipline, I don't think he has put a foot wrong since we bought him.
Virgil?
I'd struggle to argue with you tbh mate.
I can see him at one of the big boys in Spain in a couple of years.
He really is that good... when you see him every week you'll understand, espescially those who watch him live.
Mane is arguably the best player at the club, probably surpassed Coutinho.
Mane will be considered world class within 18 months or so.
Not sure Coutinho will ever be consistent enough.
I meant before his last season.Oh I certainly could.
There's probably posts on this thread from me from last year telling everyone moaning about the price that he's a class act.
I think he was last season until the injury it then took him a while to get back to form.Mane will be considered world class within 18 months or so.

Virgil van Dijk has decided he wants a summer move to Liverpool ahead of Chelsea and Manchester City.
The Dutch centre-back has been mulling over numerous lucrative options since the end of the season, and has picked Anfield as his favoured destination should Southampton agree to sell him.
However, a deal is far from close despite Van Dijk's hopes and intentions.

Yep if you watched him every week you'd soon change your mind, great player and IMO he was consistent last season other than the period just after injury. You'd certainly know better than me mate, but I've always seen him as a very good player who will never quite reach that level.

Yeah, £50m is a huge sum and we are smashing our transfer record. Plus wages of course.Yeah he is brilliant. I would like him but i'm not sure i would pay more than 50+, even then i shudder when i see that transfer fee on a defender.
It depends on Contes system and it would mean the end for Cahill who i have a lot of time for but deep down know he's not good enough for a top class team.
For us though we also have a lot of defenders coming through in Ake and Christensen so by buying VVD it would effectively mean they have no place in the team.
I would prefer us to get a really really powerful CM and a new striker as well as a new LWB and RWB.
Moses and Alonso are very good but you saw against Arsenal and Spurs when they are not the best fullbacks and against better ones, they are easily nullified.
Quite a few 'in the knows' saying VVD is pretty much done now (Not random Twitter nobs, but people who've been correct and ahead of the press in the past) so maybe Jimmy was right all a long! He better not be Lovren MkII though.
Where does this leave Gomez? Assuming it'll be Van Dijk and Matip starting, Lovren on the bench and Klavan fourth pick with Sakho sold - Lucas and Gomez for the cups?
