Not sure Mane was that bad tbh, 34 rising to 38 wasn't it?

Just looked worse cos Bolasoe went for 30 about a month later.

Agree regarding we should be strong...

Mane a classy winger and you saw how good he was (and then proved it at Liverpool) and is still relatively young for 38m tops.

Or Big Ben, failure at Liverpool and you know Liverpool were kind of desperate to get rid as he wasn't playing at all (to be fair liverpool said the right things we don't have to sell). He went for 32m or something. Then as you say Bolasie whos like 27 went for 28 or something.

Anyway, if City are in for a player you know they will splash big.

They paid 50 for stones, 40 odd for sterling. Hell, they even paid 43 for that Silva guy from Monaco whos had 1 giant season and 35m for a Keeper who Literally broke into the first team this season and no one had heard of.

lol not livid.... it's not like chelsea are in the running or Chelsea are selling him on the cheap. I was just saying what i would say if i was Soton.

I don't think hes worth anything more than 50m (even thats a ridiculous fee) but if i knew City were hunting him i would have expected that value to be smashed

Classy but very inconsistent. Went 3/4 months without a league goal in his last season with us.

Best analogy I saw was that with us he was a £100m player around 35% of the time so about right...

Only slight criticism is you could say we should have waited until we saw what the new Prem money did to fees.

As for your second post about Virgil, he most certainly is worth £50m+ in todays market. One of the best in the league and has 5 years left.

Mane was laughable at times when he first joined you, complete chicken with no head. His improvement is remarkable, I agree that you couldn't see it coming.
