Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has put Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp on red alert.
The Gabon striker has told Borussia Dortmund chiefs that he wants to quit the Bundesliga club this summer.

And the news could intrigue his former manager Klopp, who is keen to bolster his squad ahead of next season's title at Champions League football.

Aubameyang was the top scorer in German football last season with 30 Bundesliga goals.

But according to German daily Bild , the 27-year-old is keen to hand in a transfer request in order to take on a new challenge.

Depends on which target.

There are certain people who live in the press' pocket at anfield. Literally tell every tiny details to certain pressers.

Then theres who are you buying off of.

Look at utd and greizmann... its all known.

Look at wijnaldum. Virtually done furst word prob some newie office guy to local press on receipt of fax.

Monaco seem very quiet about their sales.

Citeh seem to be very good at keeping things quiet, they've done a few deals without any media attention.
For all we know this deal could have been weeks in the making and its only now known.

Could also be said they get things done fast as they don't negotiate very hard, accept the price and accept the demands, they can afford to do that since ffp doesn't work.

And then again could also be said even now the media aren't as obsessed with Citeh as they are with us and Manu, just look at the easy ride Pep has got this season compared to others.

It would be down to them accepting fee and anything the player wants tbh.

It's similar to Man u, the only thing slowing down the Pogba transfer was the agency fees as they really shouldnt be expected to pay it. But they did in the end.

If Mourinho wants a player they will get him, simple.

Melissa Reddy (who is very close to the club) an allegedly reliable outlet in France have linked us.

I think there is definitely interest but we'll be blown out of the water by City.

I suppose as a temporary solution for 18 months or so while we find and develop a lb of our own it could work. At least he is a fullback "by trade" unlike Milner. I don't know how well he's playing currently. Might save money to spend elsewhere?
