Surely not, when and where would he play? Jesus is clearly number 1 and Aguero is a fantastic player sat on the bench already

Right wing? De Bruyne in middle without Sane left and Jesus up top.

Back up of Sterling right, B Silvs and D silva in middle and left and Aguero up top. Pretty good options.

Its quite simple... Jesus and aguero accomodated it they work well. No place for sterling bar cups

Thrid forward in a 33 might be anyone of sane, or silva or debruyne or even david silva.

CM trio

gundodgan, debruynes? silva? fernandino or equivilant?

I expect them to by at least 4 full backs too

Not sure I see Pep going with both Jesus and Aguero in a front 2.

Talks between Liverpool and Keita’s camp have been very positive, but the Merseysiders are aware of other strong interest. (@MelissaReddy_)

The 22-year-old's transfer fee will be pose no issues for the Reds, but he has several offers and his club are eager not to be forced into a sale

Liverpool remain in a strong position to sign RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita this summer, and are willing to smash the club’s record transfer fee in the process, but are wary of the heightened interest in the midfielder.

Jurgen Klopp believes the Guinea international is an elite player - among the best in the world in the centre of the park - and as such, an asking price in the region of £50 million would not deter the Reds.
Nor would they flinch at meeting the 22-year-old’s personal demands given his status as a priority target, which Goal first revealed.

Talks between Liverpool and Keita’s camp have been very positive, but the Merseysiders are aware several other weighty enquiries have been fielded for the dynamic, versatile star.

I'd have won big under Klopp - Gerrard

There is cautious optimism over convincing the No.6, who is equally adept at operating in a box-to-role role or as a playmaker, to choose Anfield as his preferred destination, with Sadio Mane’s dazzling debut season under Klopp a helpful element.

Keita shares the same agency as the Senegal international, who has thrived on the pitch for Liverpool and has been helped by the club off it.

The Reds assisted their Player of the Season in hiring a personal chef when he made the £30m switch from Southampton last summer and arranged a special prayer room for him at Melwood.

Nah. Sane and auba either side of Jesus. With de Bruyne, silva, Fernandinho/Gundogan.

If city buy some decent full full backs and a CB to partner Kompany (VVD) and a keeper then they should walk the league with strength of that squad.

Buying bernardo silva now as well!

They should be winning (or at least challenging) with what they have too though.

Also, you just said two FBs, a CB and a keeper. You'd change four of the back five? And the only one you'd keep plays about four games a season nowadays too [HASHTAG]#toomuchchange[/HASHTAG]

Too much change, but their defenders were terrible before so changing it all couldn't make it any worse.

I think this deal depends on Aguero tbh. If Aguero stays then I don't see him going there.

If Pep does want something different and Aguero leaves than surely Aubamayang would be first choice. Jesus as good as he looks isn't on Aubamayang's level yet, imo.

We are gonna have great difficulty holding onto the likes of city in the league. They already have much bigger squads with better depth, not necessarily far better 1st teams though. Now they are just adding even more quality and numbers to that.

I personally don't care who we get as long as squad at end is well balanced and hungry for a bit of success.

This year we had 4 strikers, one wide man, one coutinho playing lw and a rw/cm playing lb.

That's unbalanced and we paid for it on a number of occasions.
I would just like to see us have a proper squad again.
