Christian Benteke has admitted he is trying to convince Liverpool loanee Mamadou Sakho to join Crystal Palace on a permanent basis.
"I'm trying to persuade him to stay but it will be tough," Benteke said.
"He'll have offers from other clubs, although our chairman and boss will try to get him to stay too.
"He's made such a difference to us. First, we have to make sure we remain in the Premier League - but we're not far away now."

Saw some ****ty rumour that Barca are willing to pay upto 50mil for Coutinho.

Not sure about that... depends which coutinho you are getting.
The one that scores worldies or the one thats been a bit off colour since he's been back from injury.
For someone so talented and can pretty much do it all (but header), his end product in numbers does leave a lot to be desired.
I would say around 60-70 million TOPs. If it was too a desperate club like United or City you could probably get 100m
His output has improved this season and he was arguably the best player in the league until his injury. He struggled horribly after that but has regained his form.
Yeah you have to allow for some players to take time after a bad injury but he's certainly consistent now and a superb player.

But I'd say in 90% of transfers these days that personal terms are 'agreed' before the fee.
Doesn't make it right, but it certainly seems that the fee is the last thing agreed now.

You got £50m for Luiz and 60m for Oscar... enough said.
Yea but we flogged luiz to a desperate PSG who were overpaying for everything (like City) and Oscar to some filthy rich chinese club (MONEY LAUNDERING ANYONE??!?!?).
Barca on the otherhand is not known to massively overpay. They only gave you 60 odd million for one of the best players in the world.
Coutinho is no where near that level.

Theres no agreement to let Cout go if they bid and so far ([HASHTAG]#nojinx[/HASHTAG]) he hasn't bitten anyone in lead up to summer window!
We have no need to sell Cout where as Suarez we had no choice really. Was an agreement that renew your contract insert release clause and can go to Barca if they want you.
Cout is still young as well, plenty of potential there. £89m for Pogba ffs.
Oh and Suarez bit someone and had a worldwide ban which reduced the asking fee.
I think players contract should include unprofessional behaviours (when they get transferred the club gets some percentage off the player)
I would agree, but several years have passed by and players like Pogba are the world's most expensive. It just encourages Liverpool to ask for £70m+
Moot point anyway, i don't see Liverpool selling and i don't see barca paying 80+ for coutinho. End of discussion

We all know barca are desperate cos they have a wonder front 3 and the midfield has gone... if they want him they pay 70 or 80 mil just like anyone else... they are staring down the barrel of nothing to show for the year bar maybe copa and thats not acceptable to their spoiled fans
same as real.. they could sack zidane even if the win the la liga and cl double... the nut jobs.
If he wants to sulk fine we deal with that easily enough too
