Telegraph saying we've tried and failed to sign Tex again with a third bid of £31m
texeira dead
matip dead
xhaka dead
dead dead dead
so now we can add texeira to the list with costa salah mhkit willian and few other deals we ****ed up
agree it's an inflated fee but what i don't understand is if the CEO/director has made it clear they want £38m or whatever, why we don't move on?matip never happened according to the shalke sources.
****ed up is harsh if a club wants a totally inflated fee.

ahh well i'm over it , least we beat utd to the lallana deal
their research will I'd hope also show them that if we are refused we move on and don't return. so they need to weigh that.
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Depends how keen we are, I think.
BTW The Telegraph's quoting the Star, so that's the source.

Also from The Telegraph's gossip:
Meanwhile, Liverpool have reportedly made a bid to sign Celta Vigo striker Nolito.
The Spaniard has been in top form so far this season, scoring eight La Liga goals and has attracted interest from the likes of Arsenal and Barcelona.
The Catalans had been favourites to bring Nolito back to the Nou Camp but a deal collapsed when their proposal to loan the striker until the end of the season with an option to buy after was rejected.
Now talkSPORT claim Liverpool have made a late move to sign the striker and have met his asking price with his release clause making him available for just £13m.
