See the young Norwegian wonderkid has decided to go to Madrid it seems.

Odd one, you'd think he'd go somewhere where Gea likely to continue playing first team football in the next few years.

can see him being lost amongst the superstars Madrid now

Boy's a whore. Been round every club in Europe, each time the club is a bigger name than the last. Seems to me he was always aiming for a Real or Barca and just using the other clubs to get noticed.
Long time before he'll ever make it to Real's first team squad, maybe in a few years he'll just disappear. Rather than go lower and stand a chance to get into first team in a shorter space of time.

On us, we're not signing anyone. Not even our own player, Origi, we've lost too much money in the past seasons and now FFP will kick us in the arse, meaning we can't spend. And I doubt we have enough money to do so.

We will sign no one. It's obvious that rodgers will not be handed anymore money to waste so he will have to generate some himself by selling. But who is going to buy any player who can't get in our first team. Borini will sit tight and 'if' we sell anyone else it will only be for nominal fee.
Origi will stay at Lille and we will watch Stoke City snap up Shaqiri for peanuts.
Rodgers will rely on Sturridge coming back from injury, hit the ground running and scoring and hoping he doesn't get injured again. Liverpool will finish mid- table because other teams have better scouting and more ambition than we do. Very sad.

For me I don't really care. the boy had a lot of fun going about. however you would have to wonder as real madrids record for making players come thorugh is quite shameful since casillas and raul.

In the end he could seriously vanish and thats up to him cos the minute he signs he has a fee and it'll be a big one.

I think grand its better than him going to manc land after claiming he's a lfc fan or southampton. i mean he supposedly hit up bayern too.

I think however you'd go some place were a kid actually gets a chance. barca... not too bad at times, bad at others... bayern seem to want to use dortmund as thier youth academy... real... thier first team has lots of signings, their young lads are more likely to end up loaned out like cheslea players rather than ever play for real.

It's why we can't afford the extra couple of million for Shaqiri.

So... does anyone remember back in the day when there was a comic character called "gorgeous gus?"

please log in to view this image

He was some sort of english lord who bought a team and bought 10 brilliant players and played himself as striker but never ran and they all had to tee him up on his foot to score.

If LFC fans had a goregous gus owner what would their team be? (remember no egos allowed but guses so forget your ronaldo's and messi)

    I reckon

Lloris would come in for sure.

also... if you were james milner would you go to lfc in january.

I mean the thing is he can go in the summer right and is reputedly on at least 100k per week.

If he waits he can take in the 100k plus any medals going and then earn a sweet hart signing on fee in the summer plus higher wages than if a fee is involved.

I can't see this occuring this month!

    Daily mail

    • Luis Suarez faces an uncertain future at Barcelona - which could see him return to England - following the dismissal of sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta.

which english club... Utd, arsneal or city... cheslea wouldn't be pushed.

It'd be very funny to see the mancs have to cheer squarez actually. Arsenal would prob offer 40mil +£1 and then get mugged off. City would buy him tomorrow.

Lfc can only afford to offer £5 and write off the money barca never paid us.

Watch the BBC phone all the Premier League clubs and find out which ones would consider offering Suarez a contract...

    the echo today.

LFC only after a loan deal

Fredy Guarin on loan radar, goalkeeper's agent confirms talks, Glen Johnson to return to West Ham

Meanwhile, the Metro say Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin has opened talks with the Reds - or so the Italian's agent, Moreno Roggi, claims....

i like or so his agent claims... but seeing its the metro i may as well just rule this one out now.

finally... oh plese god let west ham take johnson... but can they pay us 50 quid now and take him right now?

Looks Milner is a key target (for summer) and we're keeping an eye on Delph.

    Says it all really.
