On martial... all we know is he's in process and has a decent rep and a huge fee to live up to. If depay can take 2/3 months to settle in then no reasonable person can expect this kid to come in in the next period and set the prem on fire. Speaking on Martial, I gotta say I thought my football knowledge on youth players was quite high but I've never heard of him, like at all. Apparently he destroyed Arsenal when they played against Monaco but I would say Arsenal were terrible that game. Monaco themselves have been terrible, from trying to become the best in the World to depending on youth players. But yeah, again on Martial, I can honestly say I've never heard of him so for 36 million Euros to be touted I just find that unbelievable. Sterling, Pogba, Marqiunios, Draxler and many others of young players who have been highlighted as the next big thing but now Man U bid for him he's now the next Henry. It's an incredibly risky buy on a player who really hasn't proved himself in France and now has to make a big step up.
So he plays great like we all hoped he would (and has shown in the times he's been fit) and we lose him to Villa, or he plays **** because he hasn't recovered from said injuries and we keep him. Brilliant
If he plays great then we tell them to **** off with any bids and if he plays to a Villa standard they will bid in which we accept. Only negative is if he gets injured because we are with him till his contract runs out.
