Delph is exactly the type of player we've been signing over the last four or five years! Despite being almost out of contract, we'll insist on paying top dollar for him regardless!

I can tell you now origi has probably f'd himself up here. I wouldn't be sticking him near our firsts now and honest to god if I were able to influence my club I'd be demanding a big signing up front and forget this guy as a solution. If he comes with the right attitude in preseason next year great but this stuff is very unimpressive

El Shaarawy doesn't even start for Milan - and Milan are in a worse state than us.
Maybe the boy needs a lift because at one time he was very talented and that doesn't just disappear... but looks set to fail.
£12m sort of player right now.
Agreed - he's a quality player struggling in a sh*t Milan side. Could be worth a punt.
Same with Origi - he's struggling in a boring Lille side. Put him a team with better players around him and he'll get better. But I rather we go out and buy someone who is more experienced.
The Shaqiri link is getting stronger - loan until end of the season.

I think these are the risky signings we should be making IMO - they have immense potential but just aren't getting the right opportunities. Same with Sakho as well - whilst he hasn't excelled at LFC, there is a player in there which needs to be managed.
