He's better than average and you're just applying the Carlos Kickaball snobbery mentality there imo.
p.s. You are midtable.........
unlike everton who have real calss, when are you selling barkley btw? 2 weeks time?

Not really - I just don't rate average players as highly as you do.
Same reason why I don't rate Rickie Lambert or Jon Flanagan.

Neither do I, they're both mince.
You love a foreigner an exotic name, you've not watched enough of Delph if you're labelling him 'average' it's as simple as that. Alternatively you wouldn't know a player from an alehouse hacker......

No English bias whatsoever - I just appreciate good players. Maybe your definition of 'good' is lower than mine. We have a few foreigners in our team that I don't think are good enough i.e. Skrtel, Lovren, Lucas, Enrique.
And 'snobery' works both ways - some people were having a go at Markovic for his early displays and called him sh*t, disregarding his potential and the ability he showed at Partizan and Benfica. But because he's some 'unknown foreigner', lets write him off straight away.
Btw, I think there a lot of talented English players - Barkley, Clyne, Ward-Prowse, Chambers, Stones to name a few.
Obviously not otherwise you'd appreciate our Flanno![]()
I think the problem lies in our definition of 'good'![]()
Delph is just a poor mix of a Wilshire and shelvey.
Wilshire in that he picks the ball up and tries to go back players but doesn't really offer and type of goal scoring threat. And shelves because he can be extremely rash and slides in a lot picking up yellow and always risking a red card tackle.
Hope we stay clear especially as he'd likely cost about 15m with english tax added on top

I'm some one who likes Delph. I really wanted him in the England team. But International football requires a different player mentality (which I believe Delph has).
Not for Liverpool.
Would any one welcome some one like Toulalan?
Pjanic from Roma would be my number 1. Think he's a classy player when ever I've seen him and still only 24
Roma are pretty solid atm though. He gets more promise of trophies there unfortunately.
De Rossi may be ready to try his luck in the PL.
Good player Delph. Don't get the Gerrard comparisons, but he's a cracking all round midfielder, and is capable of better than Villa and he knows it, I'd take him in a heartbeat at Goodison.
Looks Origi could be on his way back to LFC in January.
