Still don't agree. What was difficult to manage with Suarez?

What was easy? <laugh>

He was racist, he bit players and spoke out every time he left Liverpool. He was a quality player on the pitch and always gave his all, but off the pitch he was a grade A ****.

I agree lacazette looks the perfect fit to rodgers.

Benteke is a unit and someone in that committee wants targets men.

Don't agree with that - Rodgers has pretty much always gone for a physical target man bar 13/14 where he gave Suarez the license to do what he wants. He wanted Dempsey when he first arrived but ended up with Suarez (who was already here) and Sturridge who the committee sanctioned. Last year, he wanted Bony and he bigged up Mario before he signed. It certainly fits into this way of thinking which is 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 and playing with a lone striker.

After the success of 13/14, he was quick to go back to 4-2-3-1 and play Studge as a lone striker.

Also, don't want to get into the whole 'committee signing' or 'Rodgers signing' - just going off what local reporters said and both Times and Echo have said Rodgers is the one who wants Benteke. <ok>

Berainho has parted ways with Aidy Ward..
Interesting. I can see this being one of two things; 1. He doesn't like the way the Sterling situation is going, the reputation damage etc, and fears that most of it is down to the agent, seen what it is like from the outside. 2. Feels overshadowed by Sterling, that Ward isn't doing enough for him considering he was trying to get out of West Brom not long ago.

Who was Rodgers main striker at Swansea? Was it Michu or did he arrive after Rodgers. Michu is a false 9 type.

I remember Sinclair and Dyer in the wide positions being the main focus for goals.

Funnily enough that was my thought... he's putting 100% into getting Sterling his move and Berahino feels like not getting the attention to get the move he wanted..

Divock Origi might have signed for Liverpool last summer but considering he spent all of last term on loan at Lille, arriving for training on Monday would have felt like his first day at school.

Like anyone wanting to make an impression and fit in, Origi must have been eager to show himself in his best possible light, but the Belgium

international slipped up before he'd even made it through the gates at Melwood.

The £10m signing, who has much to prove after a relatively poor campaign in Ligue 1 last season, pitched up to Liverpool's training base in a Mini with a broken wing mirror

Considering the stunning cars that adorn the car parks of training grounds at Premier League clubs up and down the country, arriving in a pranged run-around wasn't the best start for Origi. He'll be hoping he can atone with some flash displays

I admire his modesty.

The only potential down side to signing Lacazette over our other targets is that it would leave us with 3 very similar striker (Lacazette, Sturridge, Origi) and no plan B (Ings is also not that different).

But if our plan A is strong we should not need a plan B.

Plan A worked for us a couple of seasons ago, Plan B failed miserably last season. Plan B just seems ****e now.

We can have Plan A.1, Plan A.2 etc etc
