Wasn’t a dig at the player more just we would normally look to buy good players who have done well and are in good form for their team
rather than players that have moved and aren’t playing. It’s a much riskier option and we are massively risk adverse as a club when it comes to transfers.

adrian is a giant **** stain on our squad there. harsh but he does totally block our procurement or blocks doak from games.
rules in Europe are 3 years at club or in country as hg or b list.
prem is just 2 so he is OK to be b list this year in prem
perversely looking down this list suggests a player like kalvin Phillips is not totally illogical due to their status.

but yes imo we can easily afford to lose salah for big big big money. he is at the end of his peak. probably well past it tbh.
we can then try line up 3 out of jota, nunez and diaz somehow and look to the future.
we have 3 youths coming so that then leaves us room and at least 150mil (at least that for salah if they are serious) to buy any forward we please out if the potential pile.
