Gakpo is a firmino replacement so that’s a bit awkward. You realise it’s always a squad game right? You don’t just have 11 players and every player is to replace another? By that logic diaz was a Shaqiri replacement.

Anyway, what Nunez and gakpo replacing mane and firmino has to do with arteta spending 600m in 3 years I’m not sure. Will be huge pressure on him to as a minimum run city all the way to the end this season and put in a challenge in the CL given the investment in the squad.
