Mbappe won’t sign new extension so could leave this year otherwise be available for free next year. That’s why we’ve not gone for Bellingham then, going in for Mbappe instead
we are not saudi. we will find out shortly if newcastle are important to them or if they want their 4 "privatised" clubs to have a star each, conaldo, neymar, mbappe. whoever. it's only 3mil a week or maybe 3 to get him so one shirt sleeve sponsor to Newcastle.
JWP is absolutely not a leader in any way shape or form chaps. It's just not him at all He's no where near good enough to play for a side challenging for Europe either. I wouldn't get fooled into making Henderson comparisons as he can tackle and has presence and JWP can't and doesn't. It'd be pretty funny if you spent 30-40m on him though after deciding Lavia was too much
No chance were in for him. Prob his agent trying to drum up interest after realising that no one is actually trying to sign him. Or lazy hacks putting 2 and 2 as we need midfielders and coming up with 5. Of course will look ridiculous if we then go and sign him
He seems to be linked with a number of clubs, ours happens to be the biggest name linked so that is getting more hits for the papers. Honestly, he doesn't fit the profile of our transfers, at his age he's too expensive for us. This feels like papers and an agent fling stuff around to see what sticks
Werder Bremen striker Niclas Fullkrug has seemingly stated that Liverpool have made a mistake in allowing Naby Keita to leave for free this summer. Speaking to BuliNews, the Germany international spoke about the midfielder’s move to Bremen, with the Bundesliga side announcing that Keita had signed a long-term contract with the club after being released by Liverpool at the end of his contract. https://www.rousingthekop.com/2023/...bly-strong-player-to-leave/?utm_source=pushly
Yeah I can't see it either. I'd be really concerned for your scouting if they did genuinely think he's gonna help solve your midfield issues as he's simply not good enough.
He can more so than JWP... And actually manages to have an effect on the midfield and therefore match (or did a few years ago anyway). A much better leader too. Can't imagine him playing 90mins as captain in two separate 9-0 defeats.
You won’t convince Jimmy mate He has some major beef with Hendo lol Personally I believe our inability to effectively find adequate cover for Hendo and Bobby and Wiji is why we have struggled (amongst other things) Hendo somehow manages to generate a lot of dislike Personally I think he has been essential to the Klopp success but that just my view
He can’t win with some. Do really well and win everything? well that’s nothing to do with Hendo, it’s the quality around him. Do ****? Well what do you expect with Hendo in midfield?
