Honestly, he doesn't fit the profile of our transfers, at his age he's too expensive for us.

Yeah I can't see it either. I'd be really concerned for your scouting if they did genuinely think he's gonna help solve your midfield issues as he's simply not good enough.
He can more so than JWP... And actually manages to have an effect on the midfield and therefore match (or did a few years ago anyway).
A much better leader too. Can't imagine him playing 90mins as captain in two separate 9-0 defeats.

Personally I believe our inability to effectively find adequate cover for Hendo and Bobby and Wiji is why we have struggled (amongst other things)
Hendo somehow manages to generate a lot of dislike
Personally I think he has been essential to the Klopp success but that just my view
He can’t win with some. Do really well and win everything? well that’s nothing to do with Hendo, it’s the quality around him.
