I'm not fussy on Tielmans. He's another player I took a dislike to based on nothing. He doesn't give me Liverpool vibes either.

Klopp spoke out about spending in the summer and I doubt he would go public without at least some sort of promise from the owners. He's never done it before.

I'm not keen on him either, and I don't want us to sign him. Just something I could see happening

Transfers usually go one of two ways: we either get taken by surprise, like with Melo and Fabinho or we get a player that we know Klopp likes. Have we ever gone for a PL player that Klopp has never mentioned or admired? (For example, we know he likes Vardy and Martinelli).

I can't either although Jota was 2nd choice after Werner and Klopp wanted Mané at Dortmund. I did think of Wijnaldum and Robbo. Not sure they count as both were picked up cheaply from relegated teams.

I'm just trying to talk my way out of us getting Tielmans <laugh>

I don't think we ever wanted Werner. Shane as I think he'd have been great under Klopp. Same with Pulisic

He doesn't want to move or he wouldn't have signed an extension and Klopp doesn't want him to go. I think when we have a settled front line, Salah will come into his own again. A good left footed player, playing on the right side is hard to find.
