I don't think United interest was overly serious, they already have a wealth of attacking midfielders so didn't need someone like that. Although a fromt 4 of Di Maria, Firmino, Rooney depay would be up there with best in the league in my opinion.
Chelsea apparently interested in sterling now as well but won't pay over 40m.... Hopefully that makes city offer 45m to which we can accept, take the cash and splash the 15m profit on Illarra
