Surprising news about Gomez, I didnt think he was happy being 4th choice CB so he must have been given assurances about the future. Happy he's signed on though.

Not sure we'll buy anyone else without some serious sales, but there are rumours that Klopp is keen on Asensio as forward cover. He's still only 26.

Surprised Gomez has signed a new deal. Not that I didn’t want him to, but with WC and arguebly being 4th choice cb, thought might look elsewhere to get starting spot in time for WC.

Unless idea is to phase Matip out and see Gomez as being 2nd behind Konate at rcb and first choice RB cover.

Back up for Fabinho

Asensio #notonthelist

Not sure about great, it's been good but not great imo; one major out and big arrival.
Yeah but I think the arrival is a huge talent and the 2 youngsters also seem really talented, Diaz was also supposed to be in this window. Then we've sold really well to go with that and cleared out some players that are not needed.

Not to mention one or two contract extensions.

Interesting, I was going to add to my reply that a lot of big cities use street numbers "18th Street" and that the number might represent the street number that gang operates out of.

Also I know numbers are symbolic to white supremacists. They like using numbers like "the number of word Hitler spoke at some speech" or something stupid like that and it becomes symbolic to them. I don't remember what they are but there are quite a number of numbers that hold almost a spiritual meaning to white supremacists.

So maybe some white supremacists use numbers in their names.

it’s not just a case of crips and bloods. They are divided into smaller sets(sets are basically groups), for example rolling 60 crips.

Not all the names refer to numbers (Tree top piru’s) but they will always claim an area and this is where the numbers can come into it.

It seems to me that we have been playing a careful game with the whole 3 year thing.

Year ending May 2019 = 33mil proift
Year ending Mat 2020 = 41.5mil loss
Year ending May 2021 = 4.8mil loss
Year ending May 2022 = ? (will release in spetember)

The key items to note last year were

Key debt to banks 95.3million. this nearly doubled btw
Intercompany Debt (to FSG) 71.4 mil. not that this was WAVED in 2020 and 2021 (so fsg are not taking money out ofr main stand unitl company is on good shape)
Cash on hand at end or reporting window 31.5 million.

We seem to have deliberately waited to officially do the Nunez, Gomez and salah deals to move that moeny/commitment out of 2022 numbers and into 2023 numbers. this suggests a very careful management of the financial situation to avoid having any issues with the premier league.
