Sadio Mané in his Senegal press conference... Interviewer: “60%-70% of Senegalese people want you to leave Liverpool.” Mané: “I will do what they want. We will soon see.”
60/70% will see his career implode Seriously though I am not searching up who really said what but if a player under contract is mouthing off they can **** themselves just like kane. It's the tiny bit of respect that works both ways. Disrespect the club and you are dead to.me. Just luke that no mark who jogged on to psg. He really enjoyed that. When mane finds there's no forgiveness for missing 4 chances a game and he's benched unlike at lfc and the reality is his pace is nowhere near thr absolute.lightening we bought in Quite happy to see him off tbh. Same for salah. Jog on if you want to play games cos lfc and fans will the there long after you are retired and looming back at your no descript final years as just another player.
I wondered the same, only thing I can see is something about being paid his worth; he's way down the pecking order of weekly wages at LFC
Bit of a dick comment from mane. Tbh he’s speaking in diff language so only reading subtitles. Maybe a bit of lost in translation? If not then keep quiet and play the normal no response card. Lfc have been very good to him and yes all the talk has been about Salah contract but that’s come from the press mainly. I’m sure lfc want to keep him and have given him everything over last 5 years. Just show a bit of respect to the fans. Seems a odd one as mane seems like a good humble guy, so who knows
I think he's just very honest and generally nice chap, don't think he's intentionally being controversial.
£42m for 30 year old Mane in his last year of his contract is not to be sniffed at. He's supposedly getting £17m a year at Bayern - we couldn't (and shouldn't) give him that. But I'd take no less and I'd make him put in a transfer request. No hard feelings like, and I'll forever remember we nicked him from under United's nose, and was really the beginning of the power shift between us and them. But he was pretty average in the first half of the season, and really only started playing like the Mane of three years ago towards the middle of March. I'd swap him for Nunez in a heartbeat.
If we get 42m would be great deal. But Bayern only offering €30m with 5-10 add ins which is only 25m with 4-9 add ins so not huge amounts.

In Senegal and much of Africa I would have considered the Premier league the biggest followed league and Liverpool are probably near the top in that regard. I doubt Bayern are as popular, so it's weird comments and votes all round.
Do they think that he plays second fiddle to Salah? That Salah gets all of the headlines while Mane plays quietly in his shadow? I suspect that is the case, even I feel that sometimes!
The thing that I read about wages and how far down (about 10th-12th) Mane is compared to others, Salah wasn't listed.
if it’s just that, I don’t blame him…..but it’s also the reason why Salah will probably also leave eventually…..as he increasingly compares himself to the best players in the world, despite his recent form. Frankly, I’m more gutted at losing Mane.
