Matip is German. Hard to call Keita, Konate or Thiago German though.

well given keita has played across euope and only was in germany for 2 years then no and same for thaigo who could claim Italian, brazilian or spanish citizenship but plays for spain.

Konate is a French citizen and was born in paris.


This is all moot anyway cos matip is clearly scouse.

The german part is yes hardly any.

The german league is more common. Matip, Thaigo and konate the best, keita would be good bar injurys.

Klopp has 32 signings. 44% are actually from england (including kids like gordan this) Germany is actually 25% of all signings. the rest are spread out.

there is a clear trend here. Prove yourself in the english league and you get a move to LFC (but this list itself is funny reading
