Kabak was banned for 4 games (5 inc. red card) for spitting at an opponent a couple of months back.
I wouldn't try that with Klopp in charge![]()
Oh ffs

So in the summer, we could have VVD, Gomez, Matip, Philips, Davies, Kabak, and Carmo, plus William, van den Berg and Koumetio in the reserves? Sounds a lot, even if we sell Philips.Word is two offers rejected by Braga for Carmo
Assume Kabak needs to isolate before being allowed to play?
Might not if moving from one bubble to another.Assume Kabak needs to isolate before being allowed to play?
At least he hasn't bitten or racially abused anyone..yetOh ffs![]()

How **** must Phillips be feeling now though? Some good performances, chance to start a run of games unexpectedly and then we go and buy two more CBs. Poor lad
Can was also of Turkish descent at least.
Think the fact we're looking at more than one CB means that Matip is probably going to be out for most of the rest of the season, with questions about his general fitness and if he can manage PL anymore.
Matip is a good play, but never really fit.

Yeah it was, but Greez hat already got the right answer, hence why I said "also".True. But not the answer he’s looking for.
The answer he’s looking for is ...
Nuri Sahin
I think
Kabak has defended himself by saying he didn't spit at the opponent, the camera angle made it look like he didOh ffs![]()

Either that, or just not wanting to rely on him and not seeing him as a long-term answer.Think the fact we're looking at more than one CB means that Matip is probably going to be out for most of the rest of the season, with questions about his general fitness and if he can manage PL anymore.

We've been looking at Kabak for well over a year now as a long term prospect - similar to upamecano - so we've probably just skipped a few steps with going for him now; the loan gives us time to watch him more closely and also means our budget isn't depleted in the summer if we don't want him. Good deal imo
Davies is a bit more of a stop gap, someone to fill the hole with a bit more experience about him.

I think the general idea would be to have competition for most places to keep people on their toes. IT's not always worked out like that though.Maybe want someone to challenge Gomez too after his poor form at the start of the season
I believe that was what I was inferring with the second part of my comment.Either that, or just not wanting to rely on him and not seeing him as a long-term answer.
