Please don't forget Neco Williams (also a (local lad) he is for the future.
But he's a fullback not a forward/mid. Which is what the papers have been linking us too since January

And we've not been linked to any RB's, cause we have TAA and Gomez and Williams. We're covered in that area, no need for the papers to link us with average players

Our youngsters seem to be being developed in the right way at the right pace. If their development continues along these lines, we won't need expensive signings or at least not as many as some fans are calling for.

The demand for signings will always be there because of the Football / Championship Manager generations!

I think you're right. I noticed Brewster scored 2 at the weekend and a journalist on Twitter - can't remember who - said "Werner who ......" <laugh>

We're not at the stage yet of not needing established players but it would be nice to see young talent coming through and smashing it .....

Williams is great back up or rotation for Trent, but we have no equivalent for Robertson, whi h is why LB is a major issue.

Equally as a front 3, in particular Mane and Salah, we just don't have the cover and I don't count shoehorning others who can't play out wide.

Thats 2 signings that we have been desperate for about 12 months now. However we clearly aren't signing anyone this window, probably not in January either. I would imagine next summer at the earliest.

We've got Larouci and Lewis coming through in the LB position - both look really good.

We'd need a new front three for that too happen, they're all 28. In fact, most of the first team is between 26 & 30
You're right. They are all in their prime, which is one reason why we're doing so well, they've all hit top level simultaneously. Hopefully they've not yet peaked and will give us a few more years with them at this their top level of performance.

Bayern Munich will demand between £54million and £72m from any side who wish to sign Thiago Alcantara this summer. Thiago’s future has been thrown into doubt amid reports Liverpool are lining up a surprise swoop for the midfielder. Bayern were closing in on agreeing terms with Thiago over a new long-term contract, but the Spaniard has now decided to field offers from other clubs. The 29-year-old has come to the realisation this may be the final time in his career he will be able to join a top Champions League club in Spain or in the Premier League. It didn't just happen either, it was planned to materialise like that. I read a article on it a few months back
