Ousmane Dembele’s Barcelona future faces being plunged into further doubt as it’s emerged he may have hidden his injury from the club.

What was the injury? Are they trying to push him out to get Neymar in?

We seem he’ll bent on offloading Lovren. It’s madness. Sepp VdB is not ready at all and has demonstrated this in the couple of u23 games already this season - if he can’t show he’s ready there, he sure as hell won’t be ready for the PL......I just don’t get it.

Won't Lovren be on sizeable wages? Seems daft for a fourth choice CB. Doubt he wants to sit around watching others play either.

Agree that we shouldn't be letting him go at this stage though

Palace duo set for new deals
Crystal Palace are set to offer new contracts to first-team players James Tomkins and Christian Benteke, according tothe Mail.

Benteke has just a year to run on his current deal and could leave for free at the end of the season, but Palace are keen to retain his services.

Tomkins meanwhile has two years to run, but Palace are hopeful of tying him down long-term.

Liverpool is on the verge of signing a new kit deal with Nike that would begin with the 2020-21 season and could be the richest in the Premier League, according to @Forbes.

Can't ****ing stand Nike

We have one of the world’s most instantly recognised footballers in Salah. Mane isn’t far behind him and both are an inspiration to around 25% of the world’s population (1.8 billion) Muslims. That’s without all of our other players. We are becoming a marketing machine.......

Did you see Istanbul last week? It looked like large parts of Turkey, Egypt and the Arabian peninsular had turned up to watch us. Not really one to overstate the commercial angle of things, but there is a humungous opportunity in the Gulf states for starters. We just can't let those two go.

Has to be money driven. Either Agents or players cashing in. It’s always been that way.
