Really? All the England team play for sides in the prem. most of Germany and France players play top tier as well for their clubs as do Spain and Italy.

It may not be a major tournament but the players playing it in are good players who may not be sorting out transfers until after tournament is over.

The England players were obviously so good they got knocked out by Romania. SO either they're overrated just because they play for Prem teams OR they don't really care about the tournament (cause its not a Major event :bandit:)

You need 23 players

City squad

Gk Ederson, muric, bravo (only cos he's injured)
Rb walker Danilo
Lb zinchenko mendy
Cbs otamendi, laporte, stones, mangala
No 6: fernandinho, gundogan
No 8s: de bruyne, Silva, b.silva, foden
Lw: sane, mahrez
Rw: sterling
St: aguero, Jesus.

Often one of the no 8s might play wing too.

Thry have a full squad.

Yes a reserve keeper might be needed,
Yes astro is right that they have an issue at cb,
No they don't need 5 players.
Yes they need succession planning.

The real question for city is whos the perfect fit not needing bodies. Silva and fernandinho need to be thought about seriously.

The danger in that one or both go off a cliff and thry are not prepared, right now though.... they could play gundogan, de bruyne, b. Silva... so not a huge issue

B.Silva is D.Silva replacement. Rodri is Fernandinho replacement. Just need a CB.

Sane looks like might be off though

Just thinking the same

Willing to throw silly wages, don't be surprised when you want rid no one can afford (or wants) to take them off your hands.Same for Real and Bale, hell we even struggled with Sturridge.
Modern day footballers are more willing to accept less game time so long as the money is right.
