We are only a possession based team when sides retreat and let us have it we don't set out to have 70% possession like city do. We still try to counter and press. its not easy do it when sides park 10 or even 11 behind ball. One might argue salah is not a possession based team ideal... pep didn't want aguero originally due to thinking aguero was similar. Firmino is too loose with the ball as well to suit such a game... Wijnaludm is suited to it, fabinho is too. Keita... maybe, takes a few risks but we will see. My view is timo werner would have to up his levels over a year to be able to stick the pace of the prem never mind the cbs being able to assault you with relative impunity
