Xherdan Shaqiri is due on Merseyside today to finalise the formalities of his £13m transfer from [HASHTAG]#SCFC[/HASHTAG] to [HASHTAG]#LFC[/HASHTAG]. If all goes as planned, official confirmation on a deal should follow before the end of the weekend.

Good back up. Nothing more, nothing less lol.

For that price, it’s a good signing because he provide solid depth and we will most likely sell for a profit in future.

Experienced, bags of ability, versatile and can produce match winning moments. It’s the mental aspects of his game which need addressing - can Klopp unlock that?

Spending so little on such a player means we can focus our funds on the priorities ...

Yeah that's pretty much how I feel, it's down to him to become a top player and if he doesn't then it doesn't matter. Klopp needs to get him to trim down a bit like he did with AOC.

Liverpool transfer news: Xherdan Shaqiri move takes new twist after late double demand
STOKE have made two late demands to Liverpool in their bid to sign Xherdan Shaqiri.
It had been claimed that Liverpool have agreed to pay Shaqiri’s £13.75million release clause.
The winger impressed for Switzerland at the 2018 World Cup including the winner against Serbia in the group stage.
But The media are now reporting that Stoke want Sheyi Ojo as part of the deal to take Shaqiri to Anfield.
Rowett wants to get 21-year-old Ojo on loan and also is keen on Harry Wilson.
Wilson, a Wales international who has been a prolific goalscorer for the club’s Under-23 side, signed a new contract this week.
He returned to Liverpool for the start of pre-season training following a productive loan spell with Hull City in the second half of 2017-18.

Wouldn't hurt Ojo to go on loan again but I hope Wilson gets some time on the pitch with us.

Always interesting to sign new players and it creates a buzz but we really need to sell before the window closes and not play hard ball over some players.

They are the 3 that stand out to me and could bring in enough to cover this Shaqiri deal if not more as I'm sure Lallana would get us a similar fee by himself.
