Found your [HASHTAG]#bottle[/HASHTAG] for a bet now have you?
Unlike the Coutinho one that you bottled earlier?
Just asking a simple question: how over is our season?
No top 4?

I’ve no idea this is hardly going to help is it brains?Just asking a simple question: how over is our season?

I agree and have a feeling we won't buy, this is a mistake IMO. We'll soon see.Im not sure we are buying anyone.
If we are its already been agreed on the quite before selling coutinho.
If not why sell first then make it obvious to selling clubs you have money and price goes up?
Spurs brought before selling bale.

No, you’re a cult for acting like a ****ing cultIn perfect isolation no it doesn't but so what? We're a "cult" for not wailing about the loss of a single player despite the fact that you won't even dare suggest it affects our season at all?

err Coutinho was signed (twiceJanuary is not ideal time to buy. Suarez, VVD exception.
) in January .Stats are warped by the one amazing season. Break it down season by season and I imagine it will look different.
he's a nominee for the December 2017 player of the month ... the reality is that he's had one poor season, the last one ... and most of our team did tbf ...January is not ideal time to buy. Suarez, VVD exception.
Mahrez would only suit our system when we have possesion, definitely not when we are out of possesion.

Despite all this huge windfall we are receiving and the potential new exciting acquisitions, the bottom line is:
We are now an established feeder club to Barcelona in the same way as Southampton are to us. They are just paying us more than we are the Saints for their players.
Symbolically as a club we are now well below Barcelona. That should hurt us fans given our history in European football and global following.
Unless we break that cycle we are not going to move up to challenge for major trophies. We can have all sorts of excuses: players dream team, wife's love of the country etc etc. But no one seems to come and pick off City's playsrs? Or Chelsea's. What about Madrid trying to lure DeGea? They don't always have to be successful and when they come for Salah as they surely will they will be very confident that we will cave in despite any length of contract,
We can see why FSG had to take the money but sooner or later we've got to break that cycle.
When is an ideal time to buy? Seriously, £75m for VvD, £146m for Couthino.....it's nuts. There is absolutely no difference financially. The only difference is availability....but money always talks in the end.

The only way to break that cycle is by winning trophies, which we haven't done for 5 years.
Qualifying for the champions league is important, but a team that merely participates in the CL is just a stepping stone for the potentially great players to make a name for themselves before moving on.
The club needs to shoulder a lot of blame on this for taking way too long to start taking a better approach to fixing obvious problems with the squad. The problems with our defence have been apparent since Carra's last season. The problem at left back had been apparent for an age, the problem at GK has been apparent since Reina's final season.
Had these problems been approached more sensibly and efficiently, we might have won a title, or at least a league cup, in that time.
Nothing to do with the fact that you chose the tougher fixtures for him to start I suppose.
****ing lol
Even Klopp's comments make little sense and don't explain why the sale was done now. I wonder what VVD isStill think it’s stupid to sell Coutinho a) in the middle of the season and b) without having replacement secured.
There is talks about Lemar but possibly joining in summer. We need players now!
This smacks of Klopp desperate to get rid of Coutinho to keep team spirit high but it’s small time.
I don’t want us to be waiting until 31st January to bring in players - we need them now.
