Calm down, he won't be going to Barca. At least not this year.

 

And as I said, if someone breaks the rules it doesn't need to be reported before the authorities can act. If they see a breach of regulations then they are obliged to respond to it whether or not anyone goes crying to them (Saints, *cough*).
I can only think that the reports of negotiations "almost there" are bullshit, otherwise if the transfer does go ahead imminently, it would be clear that they have been tapping up.
Unless, of course, Klopp and the club have just been lying to us all this time. What does the in the know know about that?

To be honest, id ****ing love it (in a most Kevin Keegan way) if Barca didnt get their man. Im off to Barcelona in a few weeks, and if i could learn the Spanish for 'selling club' the banter would be immense

 

I hope it never comes to that, and if Barca have signed a contract with him (surely he'd deny it by now if it wasn't true) we'll shake hands, tell him to put in a TR and set the price at a reasonable £135m.

If he doesn't like it after that, **** him. It's WC year - he'll come around, just like Luis did in 2013. So what if we only get £90m for him next summer? (and hopefully from PSG). Best case scenario is that we negotiate with Barca right up until the deadline - then we say no, or our fax 'breaks'

Whatever - this summer will really, really define FSG. Whatever the Soton peasants may say about our deals with their players, we've always paid top, top dollar for them. We were utterly, utterly fisted over Suarez three years ago: if these ponces let that happen again I really hope the club ****ing implodes in their gormless faces and they **** off.
