I can only think that the reports of negotiations "almost there" are bullshit, otherwise if the transfer does go ahead imminently, it would be clear that they have been tapping up.
Unless, of course, Klopp and the club have just been lying to us all this time. What does the in the know know about that?

I hope it never comes to that, and if Barca have signed a contract with him (surely he'd deny it by now if it wasn't true) we'll shake hands, tell him to put in a TR and set the price at a reasonable £135m.
If he doesn't like it after that, **** him. It's WC year - he'll come around, just like Luis did in 2013. So what if we only get £90m for him next summer? (and hopefully from PSG). Best case scenario is that we negotiate with Barca right up until the deadline - then we say no, or our fax 'breaks'
Whatever - this summer will really, really define FSG. Whatever the Soton peasants may say about our deals with their players, we've always paid top, top dollar for them.
