No argument there. However, we're £100m short of your income and £200m short of Chelsea. We can't pay the wages or transfer fees of teams we're currently beating. In 5 years we'll be much nearer but right now we're looking to Mauricio Pochettino to keep the miracle going.

I dunno. I think youve been underpaying your very top players but they have accepted it. Kane is seriously under paid imo... good business for you.

Long term though I can see us all seeing more frees if clubs keep up what saints are at

How do you categorically know anything about 5 years or less ahead of now?

You Spuds have been telling us since the days before Bale was there that you were all that yet you've won nothing of note.

I'm not sure if you follow football but we did score more goals than anyone else in the PL, had the best goal difference and 3 (three) players who scored 20+ goals last season (the only English team in all 4 divisions to do so).

But don't let me interrupt your clinical dissection of the PL........

Next year is your year <ok> :bandit:

We're offering a lot of non-financial attractions. Playing in London for a competitive team that's on the up with CL football, a superb new ground, a great manager who improves players. However, Daniel Levy has to produce income to keeping rolling forwards.

You're the next team above us and we need to be able to out-earn you by charging extortionate prices and having concerts, E-Sports and American football in the new stadium so that we can sell to PSG and not United. Then we set about chasing clubs to who money is irrelevant. You can see why we value our Academy so much. Paying £70m for a centre half is madness and has to be paid for somehow. Ultimately, we the fans pay somehow.

You could just make savage money found Asia like...... a lot simpler.

Lfc don't need coutinho anyway.. We have Woodburn. Great academy we have now. Sold some lad called Stewart for massive profit :bandit:

I think when you took Alex Inglethorpe you were hoping he'd bring Kane and Winks not Kevin Stewart.

I rather think that we expected the appointment of Scott Parker to help land us Ryan Sessegnon. Oh well, I'm sure that it'll help next season to land both twins.

Yeah odd that... clearly he's not got a great eye for a player.

I told Bobby this earlier but he's refusing to acknowledge there's any change in the VVD situation from a month ago <whistle>

not sure if you've seen Dribs posting but he's been posting everything.

As for VVD refusing to play in friendlies... he hasn't played any before so nothings changed then? :P

There you go. They think southampton will take 50mil and will get a free run cos we are too scared to do anything.

Of course i have said many times now the guy will go anywhere that bids.

Btw.. if i were saints id accept and get him gone they are better off getting it done asap now.

Agree with this. We made mistakes and were fannying about. If the chavs have bid for him, saints would be happy and Van Dijk probably too. Why risk waiting for Liverpool to bid or not bid, he wants out and would take the chavs
