Keita would be the most exciting for me. A real box to box player who loves to dribble with the ball. Would give the midfield a new dimension.

Same with VVD. Both players will improve the spine of the side.

Yeah but then.... the same control issues in the pivot position exist.

Not neccasrily - if we have a 3 man midfield, then either Can or Hendo can play the pivot with reduced need to create because Keita and Coutinho (assuming he plays number 8) will create from CM.

If it's a 2 man midfield, then Keita and Can are both ideal for providing all round ability but we should have enough attacking firepower from 4 ahead of them.

My thing is neither have done a good job at it this season have they.

Stick in lucas and we instantly concede less goals... sure the attack vanishes too but....

    Thats a 433.

If keita is a no 8 then is it a 3? Can he sit beside someone in a double pivot.

Any takers for Iheanacho from Citeh this summer?

Clear talent, eye for goal and seemingly on his way out. Rumoured to be available for about £20m

Only downside would be the ACON with Nigeria.

He can play any midfield role really but his best as box to box because he's so good at dribbling.

Depends on how Klopp wants to set up...

    I dunno.

I am thinking we need to wait and see cos klopp might do anything depending on what players we end up with.

If we get vvd who knows :) we might play 3 at back such is the respect klopp has for lovren

Haha. Lovren being relegated to the bench will be the happiest day of my life. VVD and Matip partnership could be special. Hoping we upgrade full backs though.

apart from reputed fee one obvious concern re VVD is the question of whether the injury affected him physically.
