He's under contract, he was purchased by not the current manager, he doesn't fit the current managers team plan and tactics.
As his contract owners we can put whatever value we see as fair on the player, as dev said earlier we have been a walkover in recent seasons with buying expensively, selling cheaply and paying towards loaners wages until their contracts run down.
As for the wages, the less he's prepared to accept over 4 or 5 years would mean Palace could pay a bigger purchase price.
Either way I'm glad LFC are standing their ground.
