You were supposed to be in for Mourinho, keeping your players, and investing heavily in the club and stadium.

You got Koeman, anyone worth a fee is being shipped, no one's heard of your signings, and the stadium is shelved

1. We've not sold anyone yet.
2. The window is still wide open...
3. WHP was binned in favour of a riverside location - gutted about that like.....
 
Karius injured..
Flanno off on Loan..
Smith sold.
Sakho in limbo..
Gomez not fit, and
Matip (should be OK) short of match time..

Our defence could be an issue at the start and throughout the season if we don't buy at least one more defender, maybe two if Sakho gets the boot..
LB is a must!
Sakho goes, we need a quality CB too, Wisdom won't cut it (why hasn't he been sold yet?)
Randell won't backup Clyne, Milner will until Gomez is fit.
Also, we desperately need a DM..

Get those two additions along with who we've already got, get rid of the deadwood and it'll be a decent window given our lack of Europe, etc....
 
Sirprised Flanno being allowed to go on loan given our lack of cover in both full back areas.

Also considering the praise he received from Klopp after one of our games, I think he said he had the perfect game.

But let's be honest here - If the lad wasn't local we'd be pleased he's going on loan. He's good, but not what we need for aiming for top 4. He still has time, so a loan seems good.

I think it's obvious we'll be buying a new LB or someone that can play both LB and RB.

The Hector rumour has picked up again. I'm praying we get this guy.

Just throw 25mil at him and get it done I say.

this is the reality check.

We should be all full of hope right now.

1. Klopp
2. New stand all shiny and nice.
3. attack has many interesting elements to it, strikers and attackers behind them.

but.....

theres a turd steaming at CM and at the back its a total clusterfuck. we play 3 away games at start of season and frankly we look all over the place at the back.

I totally agree, if we sold benteke and invested every penny in a CM and the sell lucas, wisdom and a couple others and buy a real LB.... well we'd all be happy.. even me.

Matip hasn't been seen since limping off, moreno is a total clusterfuck and will hemorrhage goals. Lovern is lovern. mingolet won't go three games without flogging a goal... like....

If it's a non local Flanno or Milner then non local Flanno wins just purely because he's an actual defender!

Anfield old boy Javier Mascherano is back with Barcelona ahead of their high-profile clash with his former club Liverpool at Wembley on Saturday.
 
I think nobody holds much grudge with the little **** now do they?

prob get a big cheer and that.

I think 99% of it was g&h angst but he gave rafa an extra year at the time like.

To be fair, Klopp says a lot of things to feed the media. He said Milner was ther perfect player and that Migs is a top keeper, despite signing players to replace them.

Yeah, really good footballer but there is nothing at the mo to say we are interested. Draxler has said publically that he wants to leave Wolfsburg
though. It would mean selling someone to make room surely.
Chris Pajak of Redmen tv also briefly mentioned that Moreno has been gash in pre-season games and we desperately need a first choice LB
