I think seriously all clubs have experience of players coming back from Africa... some like adebayor were famous for it.

Others... it can simply be a genuine e lack of nation organisation and I've seen numerous cases were nations are very annoyed with European clubs wanting players when anc is on or pressurising players so they get their own back.

Ah yes well obviously if Celtic sign from Celtic a half intelligent person would realise that the second Celtic is code for Fulham <whistle>

Really surprised by that. He looked good in Champ and is young, thought host of Prem clubs would be in for him.

For me this gives us a pretty solid right side of our side.

Looking at the left side we have to sort this big time but Clyne and mane played together in 2014/15 in Koemans first season... so I'd hope they might be solid in both defense and attack.

It'll be interesting to see what we do with ibe and Ojo now... There's a slot for one kid in the squad still at lw.

It takes some time for some players to setttle down in their new clubs, to get a player to gel immediately
like that of Alonso and Suarez is very difficult. If not for injuries, Henderson's best is yet to come.
We can see the best of Clyne Lallana and Sakho(if still with us) this coming season.
I should think we are going in the right direction.

Lucas Moura seems a name banded about. Is it likely we'd still sign him despite signing Mane? I don't think so.

Really need a left back and a defensive midfielder.

Agreed. I think if we see more attackers bought i will be a bit of a surprise.

As I said about CBs in our histroy when Scales and babb turned up within 24hours of each other or when henchoz and hyppia both arrives we were i think all surprised

If we buy moura I'd be surprised now.

It would put coutinho's place into question.. that or firmino

The gaps are exactly what you identified.

the funniest one was the 2 goalies under Houllier
Kirkland and Dudek if my dodgy memory is correct which was clearly one of those situations when you think your first choice ain't happening so go to plan B then it turns out plan A is available and end up with both.
always makes me think of CM type game - trouble is this is real money

We'll only sign more attacking players if we sell on of our current forwards.

I'd love to see Moura come but we really don't need improving in that area, especially with Ings and Sturridge back #nojinx and with us signing Mane too.

Another CB, LB and CM and I'll be happy <ok>

We need a midfield general, our current midfield players are lightweights. Some one to break off play and can stop ball going to the back

Carvalho would be ideal but can't see us splashing another £35m on him.

Hopefully klopp knows a couple German unknowns who can come over and do the dirty work in middle of midfield.

problem is, we also need someone who can dictate the tempo of a game, can't aee us buying that player plus a DM who can break up play... And it'll be hard to get someone that does both!
