well.. nice guy but can't run like... i dunno whats next but there not unlimited jobs for unqualified coaches either. If the lad wants a coaching job or klopp wants him he needs to learn the coaching trade.

Same for gerrard, i'm amazed constantly at how a name seems to entitle guys to a job when in fact they may just not be that good at it.

For example Fowler is retained by LFC but he's not really coaching while he is learning his trade. he is an ambassador.

He did ok for an old git.
Obviously he wouldn't be around for much longer, but I'd have given him one more season. By all accounts he's a good influence in the dressing room and that could be invaluable in a transitional season.

So what's the latest with Sakho?
If we lose Skrtel and Toure and Sakho is iffy we better be sure the replacements are up to it.

Should be fine to play ? No repercussions from UEFA's **** up with his drug test and currently free to play, not injured either, no Euros to get him injured, all good

Did you not see him in the final and in the last month or so? Easily best defender at that time and he has the legs to keep up and outpace the CF in the final over long distance.

Would have def given him a 1 year extension as a bit part player, and as saint says seems to be a great influence in and around the squad.

course i did but it wasn't all that either... realistically speaking was it. He was the best player in the final for sure.. others let the side down. he was great. he got himself a bit fitter and lasted the games.

But next year? c'mon the guy just can't run for 90... are we forgetting him lasting about 15mins in europa action half the time.....
