Tbf I'd have to see second half again as my stream was awful but no one looked troubled until the idiot came on.

Flanno is a much better defender than Moreno. Two poor games is a blip. Eighteen months is brainless.

We played Utd Thursday and chased round there and broke Utd by 70mins

today
First half tadic poor. Long and Pele up top meant a 442 v a 442.

Lfc were reasonably comfortable and it could have been 3-0

Koemans saw where lfc were weak and sent on mane and wanyama

Klopp sees lovern bottle it and uses a valuable sub on sending skertl

Can gets Booked stupidly for lifting leg when sliding in a nothing position. Neither lfc midfie k der put a tackle in after this

First 15 mins we are getting destroyed I say we need to order 433 immediately


Klopp sends on Benteke for sturridge

Southampton keep dominating

Henderson is readied finally but by that time we are ****ed


Klopp changes to send on Ojo.

In short we really ****ed it.

You can blame skertl all you want but we failed to clear the ball right, we let them out number and out run us and we reverted to type not passing to each other.

Jurgen Klopp will consider jettisoning his captain, Jordan Henderson, in the summer rebuild he plans for Liverpool. (Jonathan Northcroft)

Discovering he's on 100k p/w I'd be ok with selling him to anyone even Spurs. He's not a 100k player.

Think our current 100% bin list is Mignolet, Bogdan, Moreno, Enrique, Skrtel, Ilori, Benteke

With Henderson, Allen, Milner, Lovren, Ibe and Lallana all free to go if the price is right.

I'd only keep Sakho, Clyne, Flanagan, Gomez, Lucas, Can, Coutinho, Firmino, Sturridge and Origi

We have been diabolically incompetent in the transfer market for way too long.

SportBild: LFC approach Hoffenheim to inquire about Süle. Contract to 2019, but Hoffe may be relegated. An absolute tank of a CB, just 20y/o

Jonathan Tah and Niklas Sule - two real physical defenders. Highly regarded in the BuLi - potential to become the pairing for the next decade.

Agree that these signings are likely to be more common than big names.
 
I think klopp will be looking at gomez as HG option and retain shako and buy matip in so.... well theres not a lot of room left for another... one might occur.

Toure is definitely going by all accounts and I've heard that Skrtel is gone as well.

Lovren is at best a back up, and Matip is a decent LCB but won't displace Sakho.

I do think we'll get one more CB - having Sakho, Matip and Tah/Sule will give me more confidence.
 
OK We all agree that the CBs have been / are a problem for a number of years but we've had our fingers burned before buying young "highly promising" kids (Coates, Illori, that scottish lad). I hope Klopp appreciates the need for experience as well.
