Klopp confirms he took Lovren off because of the yellow and that the occasion got to the player.

It's fair enough but should have put on Kolo.

  5. I wasn't even watching but hearing Skrtel was coming on concerned me.

Think it concerned everyone mate. Instead of instilling confidence, he causes panic and nervousness. Constantly dragging the defence back. Also gave away a penalty!

Our whole right side was roasted.

  7. Said the other day that I like Lovren. Yes he makes the odd **** up (so does Sakho) but the whole defence seems much better and calmer with him in there.

He's another liability but at least he's in tune with others. Skrtel is just selfish and does what he wants.

Klopp is looking at defenders in the summer- Jonathan Tah is one we have high on our list apparently.

    and left side and midfield

we lacked intensity second half and failed to correct the formation once southampton threw everything in.

henderson hsould have come on for sturrdige.

    defeat squarely on klopp here.

I would have preferred Lovren red carded and play with 10 than Skrtel

Yep, Klopp should take responsibility for it. Really poor changes.

Skrtel is the definition of inviting pressure. Always backs off, fails to clear, can't control a ball, and destroys the confidence of those around him.

it was way too late that henderson was getting ready and we then threw in second.

we needed control and we surrendered the midfield and failed to keep to philosophy of actually passing to each other.

oh and the praise on here for origi was baffling. he was not good.

  15. Keep saying it but I won't be surprised to see the majority of a new team arrive. We don't have a strong area bar perhaps RB (Clyne and Flanno)

i think he's a scape goat here... many errors collectively but to throw him in at HT after only being back from injury was amazing. For me we should see the whole lot screwed the pooch and not have a convienent scape goat.... i've said all this about him fully fit but in this case the 10 others need to take blame too.

This isn't a time for jokes - I'm very emotional and Flanno was **** today (again) and at fault for one of the goals.

    #19997
  18. I wasn't joking. Even considering your view of Flanno, he's a good back up to Clyne!

Except I've called for him to be sold after every appearance he's made, mainly because every shot on our goal can be traced back to him deliberately running away from the ball, which he did again today.

It's not scapegoat to point out he is consistently our worst player.

You are joking - please Gez, this isn't the time for your sick jokes. Making errors and not being to defend isn't good enough for a back up :(
