That's a really decent looking line-up. Plus they have good backups in midfield and attack. I would say its only defence where they look a little short.
For me this just makes our need for a TOP class striker all the more urgent. I doubt Wenger will add one though he seems to have too much faith in Giroud.

I very much doubt DiMaria will be at Man Utd next season and hasn't Van Gaal already said that he doesn't rate Mata
What Van Gaal does with it is another question but you have to say the squad is strong.
I should also say I think Memphis Depay is going to be a quality signing. Wish we had gone for him.
They could end up with Rooney,Depay and Cavani as there striking options.
Chelsea have Costa and Falcao
City have Aguero, Jovetic and Dzeko.
While we have Giroud and Wellbeck. If Wenger is SERIOUS about trying to win the league we need to be adding another quality CF.
It's truly a mystery to me why so many top quality South American players flop at manure and why they'd actually want to go there. Bloomin Falcao and Di Maria just flopped at manure and before that it was Forlan. Now we have Cavani rumours? Manure is the death knell for any top South American player...
Yeah I wouldn't say Di Maria totally flopped but he needs to improve.
I can't imagine Manchester is the best place for a South American to end up. Quite a culture shock. At least in London we have a decent sized South American Community so its possible for them to get regional food etc..
Of course not as bad as the rest, but he went awol for the second half of the season. You're probably right, maybe its the feeling of loneliness, or just the unpleasant shock of playing for manure. Probably a bit of both.

I think he actually said Young and Mata are not the same quality as Neymar and Messi, not quite the same as saying he didn't rate them
