I'm sure i've read his choice of staying in London, so Arsenal should be favourites should Wenger decide on the transfer.
Signing Cech would be a great step towards a squad capable of winning the title. Rumours do seem to suggest Chelsea will let him choose his next club and that he would prefer to stay in London.
It would mean ospina most likely being sent out on loan for the season or sold. He's only been with us a year but if we can get Cech then I doubt ospina would be happy as third choice keeper.

What I like is that we would have pace/power with the likes Kondogbia, Wellback,Sanchez, Walcott and Giroud and skill/creativity with Ozil, Wilshere, Carzorla, Arteta and Ramsey.

On another note, I thought Liverpool could improve fairly easily, by signing a hard working, versatile midfielder in Milner who shows a touch of class, it'll help lessen the loss of Gerrard, for a free, and I assumed they would sign a striker like Benteke who'd grab 15/20 goals a season, complementing Sturridge and maybe Sterling (if he's still there), but instead they've got for Inge's who is nowhere near ready for a team with ambitions of CL football, and isn't the answer for Ballotelli's woes!

Spot on. Filling up your team with ok players won't lift the team to top 4. If they don't pick up a top class striker and other good reinforcements, they will get 6th or 7th place and Brenda will be sacked. As the squad stands, they are quite mediocre in a lot of areas and we will see them struggle half way through the season.

I am sure Wenger has no interest whatsoever in Cech. He will stick with WS and Ospina. Ospina will play in South America and will not be able to start the season with Arsenal. I bet Wenger has told WS that he will start the season in the goal and this place will be his to lose, just like with Ospina in January.

Agree with you on the Keeper issue, I don't think Wenger will be looking to add another one. To be honest I'd be happy if we just add a top drawer DM this summer.
John Cross of the Mirror was speaking at the AST meeting tonight and he thinks we could buy Cech but it will be the chav's decision

I think that will not matter. A top class GK becomes reasonably available to walk into your team, you go for it. That's the impression I get from Wenger. Personally I would go with Szczensy over Ospina. But I really don't mind as long as we get Cech in.
Although I haven't watched him closely, I am worried that he won't be that great in the Prem, and that maybe we should be aiming higher. IMO Higuain would be a better bet.
