That's the calibre of DM/Playmaker I would like to see come in.

I don't think Schneiderlin would improve our squad in the slightest.

What a wish list. Would love Mascherano but cant see him leaving Barca just yet

Also rumours that Maureen is after him too. This will be a tricky one if this is true as Chelsea will offer more money. Time for Wenger and Ozil double team on Khadiera!
 
Latest rumour is that we are closing in on 20 year old Athletico Madrid RB Javi Manquillo on Sky Sports and Daily Fail. Not sure if this is a contingency plan if the Dubuchy one falls through or that he is one for the future and Jenkinson gets loaned out.

He is a strong combative midfielder, not really a DM though, more box to box player. He links up really well with Ozil and if we sign him then it's going to be a match made in heaven for those two.

As for an out and out DM, Torygraph were reporting that Wenger is going for Khedira AND one of Bender or Schneiderlin.

If so, Wenger has got some serious work keeping everyone happy. Can't see a place for Ramsay (let alone Wilshere or Arteta) for example, except as a fill in to give others a rest if you get Khedira and Bender.

Pretty formidable team though. I would have you as favourites if they all come off to win the league.
 
We're not signing Khedira AND Bender. That would be silly. What it probably means is we're going for both in case Chelsea succeed in hijacking Khedira.
 
Ramsey has proven his worth and is getting better. He is still not at his peak. We just need a DM/CM player that will complement Ramsey and Ozil and we're done in midfield.

The Man Utd. kit deal just shat all over ours. Obviously they're the bigger worldwide brand but still, they're getting 2.5x more per year compared to us.

I read earlier that Man Utd won't get any of the profits from the shirt sales where as we do.I don't know how true this is but if it is the difference in the money for the two contracts is reduced
