Honestly, this is the biggest load of bollocks I have read from you in a long line of utter bollocks. Ozil is probably the third most sought after player in the world after Messi and Ronaldo. If signing him doesn't make you happy, then there is NEVER any hope you will be satisfied.

Still running down the signing of Flamini after he put in one hell of a shift yesterday. Really sorry for you, seek help with your problem.

<laugh> Do me a favour.

What about Bale, Falcao, Ibrahimovic?

No issues on Ozil - Arsenal putting together statement and lawyers reading and re-reading contract. It's all agreed and medical done

God your depressing. Such a pessimist.

No, as usual, i'm looking at the bigger picture.

With how long we're taking to finalise this, we're losing time we could be using to sign a striker/winger/defender, so we may or may not sign Ozil, if we do, great, but we won't sign anyone else, which still makes the window a failure for me, because the squad is still pathetically small.

or Cavani, Suarez, RVP, Iniesta, Neymar, Fabregas, Juan Mata. This is not a disparagement in any shape or form on Ozil, who i think is amazeballs. More on Toledo's over the top reaction.

Not over the top. Suarez and Cavani don't come close. Neymar and Mata don't make me laugh. Your desire to run down our players starts before they even arrive. This **** from you guys needs to stop. Go post on the ****ing Spurs board where you will find people to agree with you, and stay there.

What your saying only makes any sense if everyone involved in transfers at Arsenal is using this entire time working on the deal. Considering the reports are that it's just lawyers looking over things and statements being prepared etc... I highly doubt that Wenger, Gazidis and Law are all completely taken up by this transfer. More than one thing can be in progress at once.

This is our largest deal ever, the largest fee Madrid have ever recieved, the largest puirchase of this transfer window for an english club and the second largest purchase after Torres by an english club ever. It's going to take time to make sure it is all sorted. Stop moaning and be happy.

You're off your rocker. Every team in europe was after Neymar and Cavani, and Mata is wanted by PSG, Real and ManUre, 3 of the worlds biggest sides.

Calm down, fella. It's a game of opinions. Ozil is in the same bracket as those players for me.

Ozil is easily in that second class of players below Messi and Ronaldo, but to try and put the next 10 or so players in an order is very difficult.

Wenger, Law and Gazidis like to be involved in all transfers, so it wouldn't surprise me if they were involved in the Ozil deal all the way through.

Arsenal's €50m signing of Ozil is being processed. Essentially done and dusted. Announcement in next couple of hours

Being involved doesnt mean they are the ones going over the wording of the contract, they have lawyers to do that stuff. It is just dotting the i's and crossing the t's. They will be working on other things at the moment.

"This is not a disparagement in any shape or form on Ozil, who i think is amazeballs" so according to you that is running down a player????

Oh no wait it must have been when I compared him to some of the other best players in the world. Is that where I ran him down?????

WTF are you on? If you can't actually read a post and understand what someone is saying, maybe responding is not your best course of action.

Let's hope we can get Ba on a loan deal too. He will provide a really solid addition to our attack.

Flamini is a very good signing too, he can play in DF too, although I would have liked to seen us sign an out and out defender.
