Yeah. I'd prefer a Gustavo but Ginter would be good as well
Agreed, Gustavo or Lars Bender would be my picks but Ginter could be a quality signing.
Yeah. I'd prefer a Gustavo but Ginter would be good as well
So Miquel and Yennaris are going out on loan to Leicester according to the Mirror. At this rate we won't be able to field a fully 11 by matchday.... that's 28 players either sold or loaned this summer alone.
Ashley Williams?
I actually erred there, 28 players gone not including loanees. That is staggering. Never known another summer like this.
This transfer window seems to just get worst, so we're going to sign Ginter? A 19 year old CB? Yes, because that's what Arsenal really needed.
So far we have signed an unproven French under-20 striker, and now another under-20 CB, Wenger's version of 'strengthening' the squad, yeah, those of you saying Ginter is a good signing, love to see your thoughts if say we had to rely on Ginter when going into a major game, say against your United's, or Barca's, great squad depth eh, having to rely on a 19 year old CB.
These signings do nothing to strengthen us, but only serve to keep the status quo of allowing the squad to just get the bare minimum of ending in the top 4, if anyone believes otherwise, then they're ****ing deluded.
Ginter is a highly rated German DM who was Freiburg's best player.
He may be highly rated, I'm not saying he is dog ****, but sorry, he's not the needed player to take Arsenal to the next level. If we're going to sign a CB, let's at least sign an experienced proven CB, enough bloody youth.
If we sign Ginter, and the Colombian DMF, that's 2 very inexperienced players, a 19 year old, and a 20 year old, plus the other 19 year old we signed from Auxerre is not the answer to Arsenal's problems. For God sakes we've always been saying we need experienced players to help us, and now it looks like we're going on a bloody youth spending spree, though not spending much actually, typical Wenger saving all the money, rather than use it to buy proven top quality, spend 6 million here, and a free transfer there, on unproven young talent.
Scrapping for top 4, here we come again, if these are the type of signings we're going to be making this summer.
Yeah because those are going to be our only signingsHonestly though, does ANYONE really believe we're title contenders by signing Sanago, Ginter, and possibly Sebastian Perez? Really? These are the signings we were all hoping for at the end of last season, to strengthen us, and allow us to compete for trophies, and possibly win some.
These are the signings to put us somewhere closer to the likes of United, Madrid, Barca, Bayern, and so on?
At this point, all the other clubs have still considerably strengthened much better than us with much better players.
For ****s sake I seen some fans on here saying City haven't signed good players, LOL, so what does that make our signings? If City's signings don't impress some of you, are you really impressed with our signings (Sanogo) and potential signings (Ginter, Sanchez)? If City's signings aren't good enough, then by comparison, ours are monkey crap.
