We'd have heard if they'd agreed a fee, Arsenal might keep their transfer dealings quiet but Madrid definitely don't
 
Anyway, ignoring the spuds and wums and getting back to the transfer business.

Good luck to Mannone who has signed for Sunderland. I thought he had some good moments for us, but at the end of the day he was never going to push Szczesny for starting place. I do think that this makes it more likely that we'll look for an experienced keeper though to challenge for the no1 jersey.
 
I'd take Suarez in a flash. He's a ****, but he's also a goal machine <ok>
 
Me wanting Suarez at Arsenal or him being linked with us ?
 
**** me...just when I thought I couldn't dislike Suarez any more <laugh>

I have to be honest though...the ****bag ain't worth the aggro...he will continue to be a head case and his next ban will be ****ing enormous...and he'd banned for the first 7 or 8 matches I think...won't be able to play until October

Every half decent player will be a short price to join us because not only do we need to strengthen but we have gone on record as saying that our financial restraints are behind us and we can compete with the chequebook bullies.
Probably means that every player we enquire about will hold an inflated and unrealistic value that puts us off, hence so many rumours...

I'm not sure why you haven't signed Cesar yet, it seems so obvious. Otherwise there's another Brazilian goalkeeper floating around London who might be interested <whistle>
