Happy 10th anniversary for the day you became a Chelsea fan <ok>

I'm not sure I get your point. Let's just suppose I did start supporting Chelsea 10 years ago what would be wrong with that exactly? I'm sure you've supported Arsenal for much longer but wouldn't you too at some point have had a 10th anniversary too? Oh but I'm sure your reasons for supporting Arsenal had nothing to do with success, I'm sure you live in Highbury and for decades your family has been season ticket holders <doh><doh><doh>

When I started supporting Arsenal they hadn't won a trophy for 14 years and were a mid table team so my reasons to start supporting them had nothing to do with success.I'm sure you live in Hammersmith and your family have been season ticket holders for decades <doh><doh><doh>

It looks like we're going to try and beat Stoke at their own game in future

This is actually Great news if true!!

This old article I wrote pretty much sums up my thoughts on the matter.

- It actually looks like Wenger is finally willing to adapt this year. The fact we are trying to sign the likes of Higuain and are willing to make changes to our coaching staff are all going to show the Club is finally taking things seriously again. Things are looking very positive indeed.

I just read your article and it was a great read. Totally agree on some of the strength and conditioning issues affecting a lot of Arsenal players. I'm a regular gym goer but when I started doing circuits (squats, planks, lunges etc), i've noticed significant improvement in my core strength that i've never seen by just doing weights. It also helps you a lot more in the sack :p

Does anybody think that Jerry Flannery looks a bit like Kate Blanchett from the bridge of the nose up ? <whistle>

Why didn't you answer my question? Why haven't you explained what would be wrong had I started supporting Chelsea 10 years ago?

So you have supported them for just ten years <laugh>. The problem a number of supporters have is others coming on our board spouting pious rubbish when they have only "supported" their "team" through the glory years.

Before you start on me, I lived in north Hampshire, London was easily accessible via Reading station, Arsenal were the first live game I saw and have been hooked ever since (some 30 years later).

Personally I don't think it really matters where you come from, as long as you go and support your team. In fact there's an argument that the further you travel, the more committed you have to be. I grew up in South London and Highbury was 45 mins away, short train journey to Charing cross, walk to Leicester Sq and 20 mins on the Piccaddilly line to Arsenal.

These days, it's a 3am start, drive to the airport, flight to London, train from Gatwick to London Bridge, Northern line to Kings Cross and then the last leg of the journey to Emirates, but I don't get to go nearly as often as I'd like to (or can afford to!)

What does piss me off though are the johnny come lately's that either whinge about the lack of trophies if it's Arsenal, or who jump on the bandwagon of glory hunting success for the mega rich teams, but who have never even been to watch their team play.

Call me old fashioned, and you might not agree with me,but there's something about standing on a rain soaked terrace singing your heart out even when you're losing that qualifies you as a genuine fan in my book.

Still no news on Higuain. What the hell is the holdup? It's officially day two of the transfer window and everythings gone silent....All i'm hearing is some stupid rumour about Rooney that'll never happen.
