I don't think a player genuinely on his way to a medical has ever been spotted at an airport

Absolutely not a Photoshop Job (I use it for a living). It could however be an old Photo or even another airport - you never know with Twitter.

Well he definitely was at the airport. Would hardly be coming here for the sun would he. Although could be an old picture I guess.
