Villa rumours building. Definitely leaving Barca, this is his final game for the club. Three English clubs interested - Arsenal, spuds, L'pool (barring a massive bid from some other unknown club). I think he prefers to play in CL although the other two have offered more in the way of cash. Will have to wait and see what transpires.
 
I'm undecided on Villa. Great player, but he'll be almost 32 by the time anybody signs him and if he's going for any more than £10-£12m then I'd rather we used that money to invest into a younger player who can grow with the emerging young core at our club, rather than a stop gap for a season or two.
 
The last three days on here have been deadly quiet for some reason. I think everyone got busy at the same time. I think there were two posts apart from myself, the whole of yesterday.
 
Fail on Sunday links us with Lars Bender. This is the guy I would LOVE to see with us. He is worth breaking the bank. Arsene, go for him!! He is exactly what we need.
 
Higuain wants to leave Madrid, so now is the time to make a move. Arsene was interested in him when he was at River Plate, so it's not like Wenger does not rate him.
 
Great news, we've made a signing. Well, of a sort. 16 year old Carsten Helge from Braunschweig, goes straight into U18s. Meh.

The big signings will come, be patient.
We've also offloaded a bunch of youngsters from 1 July so expect a number of 16-18 year olds to arrive
 
Did anyone hear about the Jovetic rumours, apparently his agent said the deal was done but I can't confirm?
 
If Wenger wants a more versatile Striker to compliment Giroud I would prefer Rooney over Jovetic.

If he's after an out and out CF then I would think Higuaine is the best option.
