Basically these writers read forums and Twitter to see what fans talk about, then print stories along the lines of 'Arsenal want..X player' or 'Y player is unpopular at the Emirates' etc etc. Total bull mostly
I'd really like to see Joey Barton at the Emirates next season... <whistle>

Why Lehmann in goal? He was a great keeper... The players being mentioned have never been and will never be good enough for Arsenal.

Some clown also wanted sam allerdyce to replace wenger 18 months ago, can't remember who it was tho, think it was one of the clowns that left to form their own site.

Yaya Toure may walk out on City, maybe we should try to make a cheeky attempt to sign him up. :-D, he already respects Wenger and all, the only stumbling block would be his wages, I'm sure if we gave him 220k a week he'd happily sign up.

We could afford to pay him 220k a week, Arshavin is on 90k, Squilachi is on around 50k, and both are gone by end of season freeing up 140k in wages, as well as getting rid of Chamakh and Park who are on 120 combined, that comes to a total of 260 a week freed up in wages, so we could afford to pay Yaya Toure 220k a week.

We aren't going to pay him that much, but I think he's smart enough to realize that if he leaves City he won't get that kind of money so he'd be willing to get a pay cut.

In all honesty none of us knows how much any of our players earns.

The brother of Fernando Amorebieta (Bilbao defender) has confirmed Arsenal interest. A possible option for summer.

Pretty quiet on the transfers front at the moment, maybe it's a touch too late. We will probably get some more concrete stuff come July/Aug.
